This is the under-station walkway at the main bus terminal in Santa Cruz deTenerife . As you enter the space you are met with people emerging from the concourse above ;They hurry towards you sillouetted against a large glass screen which provides an ever-changing human composition .The effect is further enhanced by reflective walls and flooring and harsh urban lighting from above.It is visually exciting, but also dehumanising as people are reduced to shuffling shadows in the tight perspective .

The blue cast was created by deliberately choosing fluorescent setting in the white balance menu.
