Garden Sculpture

I have been working on these garden structures based on bird baths/tables.I like the contrast of patinated copper, slate and wood .

They are available to buy at £350 inc. local delivery and installation. The copper forms are created from flat pieces and a repeatedly annealing and hammering the metal. This gives the finished bowl a uniquely organic appearance .The wooden plinth has been darkened through scorching and channels have been filled and guilded with gold leaf . The central beach pebble has also been guilded . The form sits on a polished square of welsh slate and has been laquered to preserve it's appearance.These sculptures are made to order and can be customised to imdividual tastes.
